Easy Ice Cream Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 package (18-1/4 ounces) yellow cake mix
- 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened
- 3/4 cup chocolate syrup
- 4 Heath candy bars (1.4 ounces each), crushed
Instructions:
- Prepare cake mix according to package directions, using two greased and floured 9-in. round baking pans.
- Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks to cool completely.
- Place one cake layer on a serving platter; spread half of the ice cream over cake to within 1/2 in. of edges. Drizzle with 1/4 cup chocolate syrup. Cover with the remaining cake layer. Spread remaining ice cream over top and sides of cake. Freeze for 45 minutes or until firm.
- Drizzle with remaining chocolate syrup; sprinkle with crushed candy bars. Freeze until firm.
